FAQs
about save the date magnets
Q: What size
are the magnets?
A: 3.5" x 2".
Q: Do the
magnets require extra postage to mail?
A: No.
Q: Are the
magnets strong enough to hold an info card?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you
sell envelopes to mail the magnets?
A: An envelope this size would be too tiny to mail. I also strongly
recommend including some sort of correspondence with your magnets
rather than sending them alone. Your guests will want more details
than the magnet provides, such as hotel information or other weekend
event plans. Even if you do not yet have any more information, the
mailer will not look quite complete without some sort of greeting
to family and friends. Remember, a save-the-date is a recent phenomenon...those
who haven't attended many weddings over the last couple years may
never have received one. They may mistake your magnet for the invitation,
and a note will let them know that this is simply a "heads
up," and that a traditional invitation will indeed follow closer
to the event date. If you do not choose to order matching info cards
from me, please consider creating a letter of your own to enclose
with the magnets.
Q: How long
does it take to get the magnets?
A: Once you approve your proof, figure one to two weeks till you
have the magnets in hand.
Q: I really
like the cake magnet, but my colors are green and white...can you
make the background green instead of pink?
A: Yes. I am happy to help coordinate with your color scheme.
